Our Story
Landshark Homes was founded by Drew Hardgrave in April of 2019. While working on his Bachelor's Degree at The University of Mississippi, Drew planned to return to his hometown of Dallas, TX to start a business "flipping houses" with his older brother. However, life had different plans, as he accepted an offer from Fisher Brown Insurance which brought him to Pensacola, FL and began a career in the commercial insurance industry, in which he has been working for more than 15 years. Working with several successful business clients involved in Real Estate Investing created a desire to create his own Real Estate Investment Company and thus, Landshark Homes was born. Landshark Homes began with one residential rehab, the Courtyard House, which was completely remodeled from the inside out including a full rehab of a detached cabin in the backyard to be used as a turnkey short-term rental. Today you can find Landshark Homes signs proudly displaying current on-going and future projects in the East Hill neighborhood including a variety of New Construction Custom Spec Houses and Residential Redevelopments.
Our Philosophy
At Landshark Homes, we believe in Quality over Quantity. There are many home builders and real estate investors in the Pensacola area that are building and rehabbing many more properties than we have the capacity to do. For that reason, we focus on providing the highest quality residential redevelopments anywhere in Northwest Florida. We don't use the term "Flips" because it has a negative connotation in the industry with investors who want to cut corners to earn a quick paycheck. That is not the Landshark Homes way.
Our Specialty
At Landshark Homes, we specialize in creating forever homes from distressed, outdated, or damaged properties. We pride ourselves in creating unique designs with a mix of textures and tones that are influenced by different design styles including Coastal, Traditional, and Farmhouse. We think it's the attention to detail that sets our properties apart from our competitors, whether it's the Front Porch Swing, or the Laundry Room with direct access to the Master Bedroom Closet, we want each of our customers to feel like their property is one of a kind and be proud to show off their new Landshark Home to family and friends!
